Default Apple Mac M1 MTRX Studio HD Native Thunderbolt

Hi MTRX Studio Users,

How would I go about connecting a MTRX Studio to my Apple Mac M1 laptop and monitors if not using the HD Native Thunderbolt box.

Regards

HDX. There are rumors floating around about the possibility of a thunderbolt3 port being added to the MTRX Studio. See the posts on this thread:

Dante DVS is another option. It is cheap, but has inherently higher latency compared to hardware methods.

Not currently, you are correct. I was just mentioning it as a "rumor" and giving some possible hope for the future.

My thought is that it is probably not going to be an options since it has not been in the past either. There was not a path a couple of years ago either with this.

Agreed. If anything they will come out with a MTRX Studio mkII which will have thunderbolt, but it won't be available as an option for existing units. I do hope I'm wrong though. I really wouldn't be surprised I they come out with a Carbon that has thunderbolt, as well as a more advanced version of the Carbon with a feature set similar to the MTRX Studio so it fills the advanced post & surround/Atmos needs. With HD Native Thunderbolt out of the picture and Carbon not working on Windows at all, there really is a major gap in the product line.

Copy that! I do have Dante and Madi in my MTX, so that has been good that I did that for a lot of things here.

I am in the same boat.

Is HDX or only other option?
Just don't want to spend another 5k plus $500.00 for a case just so I can use my existing stuff?
