Could Not Comp. the Import Audio cmd b/c I/O error
Hello. I had an odd error today. In trying to import a 24-bit, 44.1k AIFF file into an existing ProTools session, I repeatedly recieved the error message "Could Not Complete the Import Audio Files command because I/O error (-36) while opening "filename.aif""
I have no idea why this would occur. I've never had any difficultly importing an AIFF file before. I can't seem to find this error in the Answerbase; has anyone encountered this problem? |

Re: Could Not Comp. the Import Audio cmd b/c I/O error
This is typically a corrupt file or drive error.
Do you have another copy of the file that you could import from somewhere else? |

I did manage to import another file from the same drive without any problems, so I doubt it is a corrupt drive issue. Keeping my fingers crossed! |
