I work with a D-Command + 192 + Xmon and want to switch to Mtrx studio while keeping the D-Command. I understand that the monitoring section of the Mtrx Studio is not compatible with the D-Command, but I would like to know if I can still use the control surface (Faders, Knobs).
Thanks |

The D-Command will work as usual in Pro Tools. The only thing the D-Command will be able to control in the MTRX Studio is the mic preamp gains, 48v, etc. From memory, it might be a Mac only feature, but you can set the preamps up in DADman with virtual midi which will allow them to appear as Digi-Pre’s in Pro Tools. From there, you can access the preamp controls from the preamp panel at the top of the Pro Tools mix window.
