Guessing you're referring to http://protools.ideascale.com/a/dtd/153575-3779 which is the only one I see logged by you. It was never taken down.

I can't speak to any of the issues in that thread anymore as I've sold the system and use HD with an Apollo. However I do occasionally get a -6061 error and I've gotten a few -9173's, although that was from an old project started in 10.

Regarding superfluous programs, I had a jacked up cheesgrater dedicated to Pro Tools... I didn't even have an email client set up.

One question regarding your usage, I used to like to run at 256 or lower buffers, do you have your buffers set that low?
128 Buffer as I also track with VI instantiated

Yes, that's it. I got this email and then I could no longer find it in the listings:

Do you have PT10 HD co-install? I guess I should have gotten a PC instead of a Mac.

I had it with PT 11, but since I completely moved on to pt 11 and then PT 12, I didn't keep the co-install. All my plugs were brought up to aax 64. Don't get me wrong, I have been blessed with systems that just worked right, but I always did every single bit of optimization and kept them free from other software but what was absolutely needed for my productions. But there are people who do get problems with PC too. Up to what point is really software or hardware or user errors is very dependent on the research people put before buying their hardware and then doing what is necessary to keep it to it's simplest software wise.
