weird gpu problem

I have been having this problem since I got the pc, it only shows its ugly head when my system is working pretty hard.

Looks like its a gpu problem, I tried another gpu card but the problem remained.

my rig:

Intel® Core i7-3930K Processor
ASUS P9X79 WS, Socket-2011
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 16GB CL9 (2x 32gig total)
Corsair H80 Hydro Series
nvidia quadro 295 nvs
Corsair AX 850W PSU
Corsair Obsidian 800D Big Tower
WD caviar black 500 gig system 32mb cache
WD caviar black 1000 gig audio 64mb cache

Protools 10.3.8 hd native Omni, Vep 5

The problem:

The Windows float into each other, and if I am not fast closing the programs I lose all contact With the screen and I have to do a hard boot. Lately my problem have mostly been With Breaktweaker in Vep5.

In one of the Pictures u can see straight through breaktweaker - and see the desktop.

In the other Picture u can see the information Box float and duplicate itself randomly.

Latest drivers from nVidia? My home machine will act like that if I expect too much from it(but its a lowly dual-core). Maybe review services to see if there is some junk running in the background that might be chewing up power
