Digimax D8 with spdif?

Hi,

If I run a Digimax D8 lightpipe into my Digi 002 (windows, pt7.3), and I'm also running an Apogee Mini Me via spdif into it..

1) Will it work? (all 18 channels analog and digital)
2) Do I need the BNC time code cable or is the lightpipe good enough?
3) Do I have set one thing for ADAT and one thing for SPDIF in Pro Tools?

Sync to lightpipe and the DigiMax with be the source clock for ADAT tracks. You'll need BNC clock if using the Apogee and Digimax simultaneously.

thanks for the info. i do remember with my digi 001 i was able to hook up an actual adat (just for the extra inputs) and use the spdif together without an additional bnc time code cable. i guess that's not the case with digimax d8? (it won't synch / work without the cable if using it and spdif together?)
