No Audio from Speakers Since Update?

Since updating, I'm not getting audio from my main speaker outs. I'm trying to figure out what dumb thing I'm missing.

I decided to turn the MBOX Studio off, then on again. While it was off, AUDIO came out of the speakers. When I turned it on again, it was back to no audio. I do not have the speakers muted and the volume is up. See attached pic.

What am I missing here?

You can try restoring the factory defaults to see if that helps.

Your screen shot shows the Alt output lit so check that too. From my brief experience with it, the main output level(controlled by the right knob) may get set to all the way off after a firmware update

Weird, yeah NOTHING is plugged in to the ALT out. Main out is turned up.

I can get sound through speakers only by playing something back in PT that was already recorded, OR by record enabling a track in PT (with loopback on).

If I'm not in PT, there is no sound from YT, Apple Music, etc.

Frustrating.

So you are talking about Computer/System sound and not DAW sound right?

I assume you have the Mbox set to playback Mac sounds? Click the Speaker icon in the top tool bar and make sure the Mbox is selected.

If you are still not getting sound, you may want to go into Audio/Midi setup and see what Outputs the Mac is set to use.

Computer and System sounds yes. They only come through speakers when I am in PT and have a track record enabled. Audio Midi Setup is set to the settings for Loopback to work (7-8)

Did you turn up the Internal 7/8 faders for the Main output?

Yes, here's a pic.

No audio just sitting here playing iTunes. Only if PT has a track record enabled with it's input set to the Mac loopback. Did not have this problem until the update.

Could you post a screenshot with the MAIN output tile selected so the faders are green please?
