One fader makes clicking sound!!!
Weird new prob over here. One fader, sometimes 21, sometimes 22, now 7 or 8, jumps alittle and makes annoying clicking sound. It's intermittent.
Anyone have this problem or know what's up? I have a newer unit. Thanks, Pete |

Had this problem twice.. Once it was the begining of the end of the power supply..replaced that... The second time it was just a bad fader.. The fader was overnighted to me and easily replaced.. All running PT 6.7cs8 hope its just the fader..

Re: One fader makes clicking sound!!!
since I have a newer model, I'd have to buy a new power supply...
found a workaround...VEGAS MODE makes the problem go away, at least until I turn it off and on again.. |

Re: One fader makes clicking sound!!!
Have you had to replace your PSU? when we replaced ours we had to mod the fader boards, the mod was connecting capacitors across the rails, the purpose of the mod was to stop fader jitter, this mod was only relevent to certain S/Ns for others the fader cards needed to be replaced, if the PSU was replaced by digi they should also have supplied either new fader boards or capacitors

Re: One fader makes clicking sound!!!
I replace my power supply and fader packs 2 weeks ago,
NOW, I have a clicking fader with 7.0. I've never had a clicking fader, even with the bad power supply. I really don't want to take this thing out of the arogsy and uscrew the 1,500 screws and such to fix it. What's up? Adrian |
