MP3
Why cant I convert my songs into mp3's. a dialog screen comes up and says something about it not being in my cache or something. Could someone help me, because Ive had to convert them to .mov

The mp3 converter needs to be authorized; I believe the cost for this is $20US.
The good news is (I'm assuming you have a Mac) you can use the converter in iTunes; it's an extra step, but from everything I've heard, it's much faster and sounds better than the Digi converter.

You have to pay for the option to bounce out as an MP3
As a work round just bounce out as a normal stereo interleaved and then do the mp3 conversion in iTunes it works just as well.

I've found that the iTunes conversion is actually pretty nice. I can't say I've ever directly compared it to PT though- I just use whichever one I'm in at the time. If I just want a rough mix to email, I bounce to mp3 in PT, but when I want an mp3 copy of a mix for my iPod, I use iTunes. |
