Default Pro Tools Sync to MPC 2000xl

how is everyone? Im a newbie to Pro Tools and digital recording. I have a MPC 2000xl which i want to sync to Pro Tools...I have been able so far to get the MPC to control the play and start of Pro Tools but my questions is how do I get get the Mpc to send locations information to Pro Tools and also Tempo information. See I have a karma which I sync and slave to the mpc by sending midi clock data and the Karma tempo and location with a song is controlled on the Mpc but i cant do the same on Pro Tools y is this? If someone with a similar setup could help me out I would be greatly grateful Thanks!
