Any 7.3.1cs4 issues with Expansion HD chassis?

Has anyone noticed any problems with running PT 7.3.1cs4 on a Mac Pro while using an Expansion HD chassis? I have not installed this update for fear of a problem with the Expansion HD. I have a fairly stable system now, and I don't want to screw that up, but if cs4 helps, then I would like to have it.

I'm running MacOS 10.4.8 on a Mac Pro 2 x 3 GHz dual-core Xeon, 1 GB RAM, PTHD 7.3.1, Expansion HD chassis, 1 Core, 1 Accel, 2 HD Process cards.

Hi

I have a similar system to yours but the computers a g5 dual 2.5PPC on OSX 10.4.9 with 2gig ram.
However i'm running 7.3.1cs4 with the Expansin HD chassis and identical cards with no major problems other than the documented hiccups on this forum (such as the occassional type input problem).

This system is in use everyday with live band recording scenarios and is reasonably stable.

Just installed my Digi HD chassis today. Running 7.3.1 cs4 on a Mac Pro with 2 video display cards (20" cinema on my ICON and 3 42" plasmas) HD3 accell in the chassis. No problems yet. It is suggested you reduce your HW buffer size by 50% IE 512 down to 256 or 256 to 128 but I'm sure you already knew that.

What I'm curious about is can you run UAD cards in the chassis? I know the Digi "Company line"
is NO but in reality will it work and be stable?

I have posted a thread on this very question with only one response. Any info would be greatly appreiated.

I'll keep you posted on how the chassis cs4 thng turns out.

I tried in the magma before and it was overwhelming the system
