PROBLEMS OPENING PT SESSION
Problems opening up session. Facts: G-5 computer, 6 gigs Ram. When I try to open the session I see PT restoring tracks and activating inserts. It is at this point that the computer freezes. I tried to open a new session and import the bad session. Same freeze when restoring tracks/activating inserts. I tried opening new session without some of the audio tracks. Same freeze. I appreciate all of your thoughts. PS sorry I originally posted this in the wrong section!

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum.
If none of those suggestions help, please post specific information on your system - computer model, OS version, Pro Tools version, attached peripherals, etc.
