Default Beat Detective and Phase Issues

I know their are a couple workarounds for using Beat Detective LE on multi track drums. Is there any way to use it without causing phase problems?

anybody?

Shan, I know you posted a workaround in the Windows forum, but somebody else said there were phase problems with your idea.

Can anyobdy shed some light on this for me.

Also, does anybody make a Beat Detective - like plugin for LE?

Yes. Right here.

You'll have to substitute the windows shortcuts for mac though.

Hope that helps.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Shane's method is rock solid. I used BD LE to chop up the drums and then conformed them to the grid with 90% accuracy. I kept going back and forth between my chopped drums and the original stereo submix and was psyching myself out, sure I was hearing phase problems. So I inverted the stereo submix and played everything at once. Dead silence. Thanks a ton man! Peace

Glad it worked for ya. When I get some time I will update it to include the mac shortcuts and include a short linked video.
