Record armed track leveling
I have noticed since Protools 7, that when you record arm a track with it's relative level set other than unity, it will jump to unity as long as the track is armed, and than jump back to the level it was set to before when unarmed. I have been searching for a preference for this, and was wondering if anyone on here knows how to turn this on and off. Thanks in advance.
Kind regards, Danny Cheung

Re: Record armed track leveling
go to pro tools preferences
look under the operation tab. On the right side, its the second option in the record section. "Link Record and Play Faders." I'm betting your's is unchecked which means you'll have seperate volumes for play and record.
