Default why can i record even when rec is armed?????help

ok guys i had a problem and i'm halfway solved it..the only problem now is that when i arm a track in record mode.then hit spacebar,my triton plays but it doesnt record onto protools...the same problem with my mpc..it was doing it fine before but the other night i was drunk and dont know what i did to prottolls now it wont record even when the track is armed!!!!!!
help me pleasee [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]

try holding down the "apple" key" while hitting the space bar. That Might do the trick....if it doesn't, maybe somebody more technical than me can help.

Yeah what he said or just hit 3 on the numeric keypad...I've always found it easier...

Lets check basics first....

Are you trying to record to a midi-track or an audio-tarck? A midi-track will only record midi-messages....wich is not the actual audio. To record the audio, you have to connect a lead between the audio-out of you midi-device and an audio-input of the digi001. From your post i think you have the midi-connections made corectly....

Try getting really drunk again and messing around with PT.
