HDX not seen by ProTools or DigiTest in a 7.1

I have been running two HDX cards, each in a 5.1. Bought a 7.1 (rack), sold one of the 5.1s and have been getting the new machine up to speed. The computer recognizes the HDX card, but ProTools and DigiTest do not. I've swapped both cards into the machine, then back to the 5.1... no problems with either card running in the 5.1. I've tried every slot, and the machine recognizes the HDX card in each slot I've tried, but ProTools and DigiTest... zip!
Also, I bought the Belkin Mac Pro Aux Power Cable Kit, the articles that I've read said it was necessary as an extension for the AVID supplied power cable. But, under slot 5, there's a power outlet that the AVID supplied cable does fit into nicely, no problems with length, and the HDX lights up.

A bit more...
In the system report, under PCI, it shows all of the installed cards and their drivers. There is a driver listed for each card except the HDX card. I've tried installing the HD Driver three times, it doesn't show up. Would seem that is the problem. What to do about the HD Driver that doesn't show up?
