Plug-ins & Effects compatible with Pro Tools Free

Anybody got any links or recommendations of plugins / effects that work with Pro Tools Free?

Preferably ones I can demo before purchase.

I was really interested in trying out the Bomb Factory Joe Meek stuff but it's not compatible.

So, any suggestions?

Doh - Have answered my own question here. Dug around enough on the Digidesign site and found this page with list of compatible plugins and effects:

All the Bomb Factory and Antares plug-ins aren't compatible with PTfree. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Richard - did you find any demo or freeware ones? - like you I want to evaluate first! - especially reverb...

Hi Rob,

Haven't yet managed to find any freeware stuff yet but have downloaded demos from the Digidesign site:

Go to the link above, apart from the Antares and the Bomb Factory stuff - anything that has a blackish box under RTAS or AS appears to work with Protools Free.

Just click on the Product name, then a page will load with info on the product, at the top to the right is a link 'Download Demo' click that (NOTE: you may have to register with Digidesign before you can download).

Give D-Verb a try if you're looking for verb effects.
