Default PT 10 format to PT 7 and back

I recorded a track in a studio I work at on PT10 HD. I needed to work on it at home and I have PT 7.4.2 at home. The ptx file would not open. How can I? If possible work on it at home on a lower version then take it back to studio later. It would need to go back and forth a few times.

Home studio is PT 7.4.2 LE on osx 10.6.8 iMac

yes, but if you have a problem going for 7 to 10 make a new blank session in 10 and use Import Session Data

Okay so it worked for the track I was working on that only had 2 vocal tracks, but the main track I wanted to work on kept crashing. 3/4 the process PT would crash and it would not create the ptf. Any suggestions? I took off all plugins, Ive deleted the audio file that it would get stuck on since it was just an adlib.
