I too wish that Avid would release current Mac hardware and OS compatible updates for the Eleven Rack drivers and Editor since the units are currently supported and therefore should have received these updates long ago. But, I doubt we will see them before formal support for them ends.
I have two Eleven Racks, one is in a rack in my studio and one is a backup to my Fractal Axe Fx III in my gigging rack (much less expensive than purchasing a second Fractal unit)…it’s no longer a first choice rig but it will do the job if necessary.
I keep a removable SSD drive with Monterey and the Eleven Rack drivers and Editor and the iLoc software available to boot into on one of my Intel iMacs so I can make programming changes if and when necessary (which is very infrequent).
Anyone with an Intel Mac and Eleven Rack units might want to build a removable Monterey Boot Drive and populate it with the necessary iLoc software and Eleven Rack drivers and Editor before Avid Support for the unit ends.
