I don't have a nubus machine to run it on... BUT I do have a Nubus TDM Cards... FOR SALE! Work w/ the original 16 bit 888, maybe the 24 bit I'm not sure.

The best I can do is tell you I did post for a movie on Protools TDM 6.4.1 last year. It's been winning festival awards.

6.4.1 is modern. Just last year I donated one MIX3 6.4.1 turnkey system to Malawi and they love it. This church is using it literally all the time. When there is no service, people are queuing to make music with the system.

I am thinking of another charity case who would be worthy of a turnkey 8.0 HD3 system. But for that I would need help of Avid/iLok to separate the licenses for the charity organization's ownership. Well, that should be just paperwork.

I still see some PT5 systems here and there, so in my book definition of "old" is pre-PT5.
