HUI-MIDI help
I have a DA7 running in HUI mode and
whenever I try to record MIDI, my system hangs up due to MIDI overflow when in DAW mode. I am using two midi interfaces as follows: A Studio 3 is connected to all my MIDI gear (and both serial ports of a 9500/G3-500) and feeding one MIDI cable to a MOTO Express XT which connects to the 2 DA7s and back into the Studio 3 to provide 2-way communication with ProTools. This seems to work fine. But whenever I record enable a MIDI track in ProTools, the meter on that track starts rising until it peaks and eventually hangs. I've experimented with event muting on the MOTU Express but I am not quite sure what events to mute. I would certainly appreciate any help resolving this issue. http://aiweb.net |
