Controlling parameters in plugins with MIDI-keyboard - HOW?
Hi!
I have an M-audio Oxygen 49 (http://www.google.com/search?q=Oxyge...1%3B1200%3B680) and i really want to use the sliders and knobs to control different parameters inside 3d party plugins (FM8, Xpand 2 etc), but i just can´t get it to work! Just thought i´d ask if someone here has had similar problems, either with the same MIDI-keyobard or with another one? When installing the Oxygen 49 you get a preset (preset 10) that direct-links the unit to Pro Tools. With this you can use the sliders as volume faders on tracks in PT, and control each track´s panning with the 8 knobs. You can also use the transport buttons (under the 8 knobs), to start/stop/play the track in PT. The thing is i don´t need the sliders or the knobs to do what they are doing with preset 10, i would love to instead use them for cutoff filtering, and other parameters inside plugins. Also i´ve tried different presets as well with no luck at all. Can anyone please give any form of suggestion to how i might fix it, would really appreciate it! PS. I´ve been to other M-audio forums but they are all lifeless. And the post´s i have found on the same issue, have not been responded. |
