audiosuite plug-in preview too loud

I am mixing a movie in dolby stereo (with external decoder-encoder) and my audiosuite preview is too loud! How can I control what output buss my audiosuite preview is being sent to??

Perhaps the root of the problem is that the dialogue element which normally goes to a mono center dialogue bus is previewing in audiosuite to a LR stereo output associated with the FX bus. The preview is painfully loud and it is of course difficult to judge what effect the plug in is having by using the live preview button on the plug-in.

Of course I could just render the effect but that takes longer, and I have to undo, etc.

Any suggestions on how to control the "preview buss"? In the I/O setup, is it under the AUDITION tab? Or is the AUDITION tab just for option click previews of the audio bin?

You can´t. The only work-around is to hard-patch the preview-out to an aux-in of your PT and control that or patch it to a "real" mixer and control it with a channel-fader.

great isn´t it? I wonder what Icon users do. I guess they have to burn 2 outs and 2 ins only to control audition-volume.
