Default Amplitube Automation!?!

Hi, I'm running a big session at the mo and I have Amplitube LE on one of the tracks.

I've automated the Master Bypass (On/Off) of the Amplitube LE plug-in but it doesn't actually do anything on playback.

I've tried it with the plug-in open, closed, starting On, starting Off, with that track soloed and with all tracks running and the Master Bypass button seems to react to the automation, and the Amplitube icon on the insert section of the mixer goes dark blue (as plug-ins do when bypassed) but the sound remains unaffected, it either stays on or stays off, seeming to totaly ignore my automation.

It's really starting to bug me as it's slowing me down now.

Is there some obvious thing I'm overlooking?

Any advice would be great, thanks!

Ben

...Come on People!?!? Anyone?? Someone out there must know what the problem is or had similar issues??...

I tried a quick experiment with that plug and it worked fine. Did you check if the track automation is set to 'read' or off?

yeah, apple+4 (on the number pad) and see if the "plug-in" button is enabled. It should be white with red writing.

also, you said you enabled the master bypass on the plug...is the word bypass now colored green? If not, its not enabled.

also, something else to try, on the track, can you view the bypass automation envelope? try holding control+apple and click the bypass button on the plug. this should switch the track view in the edit window to show the bypass envelope instead of the waveform. if it doesn't, you may not have everything enabled correctly
