mighty mouse horizontal scrolling in windows

moved from G5 to PC with windows 7, kept mac keyboard and might mouse. now i can't scroll horizontally in pt 8.0.3. sounds like a small problem, doesn't it? but now i'm just horizontal scrolling like an idiot and nothing is happening. all my other programmes support horizontal scrolling. anyone know (or care) about this issue?
