Default loading session crash

I already know the problem one of the plugins just froze my pro tool session when i was mixing i was looking through the plugins and clicked on gearbox cuz i was curious and then it just froze my whole session now i cant get back on it. And also I cant find the DAE preference folder i went through program files and common files and i still cant find the digidesign folder to delete the DAE preference folder. and i even went through program 86 i found the digidesign folder but cant find the DAE preference folder. I need help as soon as possible.

By the way Im using pro tools version 9.05, m-audio fast track pro and windows 7 64 bit.

You can verify that your looking in the proper location for DAE Prefs here.

Also you can press and hold the Shift key when opening a session to have it open with all plugins inactive.

This trick may help(if not now, then someday). If you hold the SHIFT key while opening a session, all plugins will be made inactive(which often allows the session to open). Once you open, you can delete the offending plugin and then make the rest active again(doing groups of plugins at a time can help you figure out which is bad if you don't know which).
