PowerMac 9600 & Firewire
Hello,
I have been thinking about looking for a PowerMac 9600 and was wondering if it supports firewire: 1) Does come with a firewire port? 2) If not, does anyone know if any firewire cards/drivers on the market today are compatible with the 9600? Thanks in advance |

Re: PowerMac 9600 & Firewire
1. No
2. Any PCI firewire card (macally, etc...) you have to have OS 9 or better. I have a macally FW/USB PCI card in my Powercomputing PTP and it works great and makes compatability issues resolve easier.(it's hard to find a SCSI trackball!) |

Re: PowerMac 9600 & Firewire
Rumour has it that 9600 will NOT be supported by OSX... I have two!
