scrubber tool / auditioning

Is there a way to use the scrubber tool (or other) as a simple tool to audition?
Coming from Nuendo there is a tool with which you can simply click in any waveform in the project window that leads to a solo playback of that particular waveform (without effects of the track).
For me it was a huge timesaver, because you could very fast identify pieces of audio within the session.

If not, maybe someone could suggest a similar workflow?

Ctrl+5 (numpad) with plugins and sends.

Or, open "any" Audiosuite plugin and hit the speaker icon to audition the raw clip.

Thank you. Ctrl + (num)5 helps here. (Although the Auditioning Tools in Nuendo seems a bit more flexible since you are able to jump into certain parts of the clip).
I think it would be a great feature addition to have a sub menu on the Scrubber Tool Button and to add an simple auditioning tool.

Or for example holding option key while scrubbing and get a simple playback until clipend..
