unable to uninstall protools v 8.0.4
I am trying to go back to v 8.0.3 because the latest v 8.0.4 has some issues on my system but now I am stuck because I can't uninstall v 8.0.4. This is the message I am getting when I attempt to uninstall:
Error Code: -5005 : 0x80070002 Error Information: >Kernel\KernelMedia.cpp (95) >SetupNew\setup.cpp (836) PAPP:Pro Tools LE PVENDOR:Avid Technology (www.avid.com) PGUID:409A13BD-5F3E-442B-BA7B-A1E32B2D8927 $14.0.0.162 @Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600) Non IE/Netscape 61608.19 I APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS TO GET RID OF THIS ANNOYING ISSUE. Do a search for pro tools and Avid. Then whatever comes up highlight all and delete.
