Bug Report: TL Everyphase Installer

I have found a set of circumstances that will make the installer for the TL Everyphase plug-in useless. Below is a detailed report of my findings.

Problem: If the program ManOpen is decompressed from its distribution .dmg file, the installer noted above is useless.

Reproducible: Yes, 100%

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download the .dmg file for ManOpen from http://www.clindberg.org/projects/ManOpen-2.5.1.dmg.

2. Decompress the disk image.

3. Decompress the .dmg file for the TL Everyphase Installer.

4. Attempt to run the TL Everyphase Installer.

What should happen: The TL Everyphase installer should prompt the user for a password.

What does happen: Apple's Script Editor launches.

Severity: Critical. Once the ManOpen .dmg file has been decompressed, the TL Everyphase installer is not usable. This means that if future updates are distributed using the same type of installer that they will not run on a system that has had the ManOpen .dmg file decompressed on it.

Workaround: None.

System: Quad 2.5GHz G5, 2.5GB RAM, OS X v10.4.6

The same issue I am reporting here has also been observed with installers from SoundToys. As an end user, I am less interested in whose bug this is to fix and more interested in seeing it fixed. Thank you for your time.
