Default Question about short cuts...

not all of my short cuts work. I'm not sure why. For example; Ctrl+U=Strip Scilence (this works), short cut for "show session setup" (doesn't work). Is this a limitation of the LE system? Many other short cuts work as well as many don't. thanks

Check your Num Lock status.. and if you have command focus enabled. Which language do you have your OS/keyboard set for?

num lock status is good. English I'm pretty sure. Where do I find command focus? Didn't see it in PT Prefrences. Also the only key commands that don't work are...show transport
show session setup
show big counter
show automation enable
show memory locations.
when I try them they change some of the functions in the tool bar.
thanks. allan

command focus is the little button at the top ledt in the edit window next to the Timeline/Edit toggle. It is a box with A...Z in it. This saves you from having to press a modifier when using shortcuts so you just press a single letter.

You're not meant to use the numbers on the top of the keyboard.. use the Number Keypad.
