Default Mac Pro Late 2013 and GPU Freezes
Hello,

Does anyone have this machine and experiencing random freezes with Yosemite, El Capitan or Mavericks?

I have two monitors connected to the mac using a dvi to thunderbolt cable bought from Amazon.

I have 3 Thunderbolt external Drives (Lacie Rugged with a samsung ssd installed in it, a seagate enclosure with an intel ssd in it and a lacie thundebolt 2 d2 drive)

I have an ilok, a usb superdrive, an eleven rack and a usb3 dock connected to usb ports and an apogee thunderbridge to a thunderbolt port

Try removing the USB drive as those can make a lot of weirness for PT.

but it's not only Pro Tools because this happens sometimes without even running any DAW !!

Would buying a single apple thunderbolt display instead of the two 3rd party monitors solve anything ?

We have 2 external 32" HD TV monitors from Sony and works great. What happens if you start eliminating every external gear and just use one monitor and the interface?

Doubt it as we use bssically the same in our nMP late 2014 but with HDMI adapters. What happens of you only use one monitor?
