Default S6 - Locking Transport & monitoring to desk

Morning,

We have a dual op S6 setup. Two things i'd like to achieve:

1) Lock the transport control to the recorder rig regardless of which WS I have focused. (I'm aware this may not be possible across both S6's due to allocation of Desk ID's, but to at least have it on one would be great). The specific reason is so we can hit record on the recorder without having to focus first.

2) And is it possible to have both S6's control the monitoring on the MTRX via DAD|MAN, currently we can only control the mute/dim/volume via one side of the desk, it would be great to be able to do that on either of the MTM's.

Thanks in advance!

Alex

Greetings,

Use the little round setup button near the jog wheel of the Automation Module after first attentioning the machine you want to lock the transport to, then it should stick, regardless of what you attention.

Currently, the Monitor Profile in DADman can only be bound to one Master Module, though it is something on the radar. You can augment with MOM units further down the console by the other positions, since the MOM can work in parallel with EUCON.

best,

Jeff

Do you have Post Modules? These can control the recorder and monitoring from both sides of the console (if you have two)

Thanks both for the messages, the transport lock was exactly what I was after, thanks for that!

We do have post modules and understand they can dim/cut, but there is no way to change the level which is what I'm specifically after. Great to hear multi-assigning the Monitor Profile is already on the radar though!

Thanks!

As an additional option, you can email Luke who built a streamdeck app to control MTRX devices as well -> [email protected]

best,

Jeff
