I agree that the onus is on the devs to get this rolling in their products. Avid opened the door but can't force companies to walk in. Now, is Avid making it easy for them to implement, or is it a challenge? Can't answer that, though I suspect it's not difficult.

That's generally how it happens. If enough people make requests for a specific type of feature, the developers will eventually give in to demand. Providing its actually feasible.

SSL X EQ2 and Channelstrip 2 support the EQ curve. Not Waves, the Solid State Logic plug ins.
