Default kernel panics

In the past month I've been getting acquainted with a whole new system:
macpro 6 core
PT 9
DP 7.2
Metric Halo LIO 8
UAD 2 DUO
Other plugs:
URS
Sonalksis
Altiverb
Soundtoys

this is the core of the setup. today the system would boot straight to a kernel panic. I'd try four times to boot. On the fifth time it would finally start up.

I've run applejack and have done a clone of my startup to have on hand.

Anyone have any suggestions if there are some other diagnostics I should run or guesses what the problems could be. Anybody know if any of the drivers for the above mentioned programs are known to not play nice?
