I try to keep it simple live.

Marshall JCM 800 Model 2205 (1984)
2 - 2x12 cabs with Celestion G12M70's (easier to carry than a 4x12 cab)
Boss ME 50 (usually bypassed)
Gibson LP Custom (1983)
Occasionally, American Standard Strat

I have several other guitars and amps, vintage and newer, but for live, the above works well for me.

BTW, the above rig records and layers nicely with an SM57 on one speaker.
