Default Whats my system worth?

I want to upgrade Digi 001 to 002 and replace my computer but I am not sure what my current system is worth and don't want to make any moves until I am sure its a cost effective thing to do. If any body has any ideas on what my system is worth please drop me a line:

Pentium III 1Ghz
512 PC133 Memory
Asus CUSL2-C mobo
20 Gig IBM 7200rpm Disk drive
32 Meg ATI Rage Pro AGP Graphics
Adaptec UW SCSI Card
1 x 9gb SCSI Drive
1 x 4.5gb SCSI Drive
17" Fujitsu Siemens Monitor

Digi 001
Sample Tank XL

JL Cooper CS16

Cheers All. [email protected]

Default Re: Whats my system worth?

JL,
I hesitate to say what it is worth right now but I will say that you might be better keeping it and using it for synths and hooking it to your new one running the 002. I doubt you would get over 300.00 for it right now anyway. You may even want to keep your 001 hooked to it for a spare or as an interface to other third party software like Cubase SX, Nuendo etc. now that we have the new ASIO driver out.
That Roy's Budget System I have listed on the "Best System for under 1K" thread can be setup for around 650.00 right now. You just need to add the VIA firewire to it for the 002.
Personally I'd stick with the 001, get a Lucid or Benchmark A/D converter if you want better converters (probably much better than the 002s converters) and wait for the Mackie mixers to receive full automation support if you want a real mixer. Should be here soon.
Good luck either way,
