PT 11.1 weird file import issue

Running PT 11.1 on MAC. After install of PT 11.1, attempting to import audio makes PT exit all the time.

Then I find, that the problem is specific to one particular sound file. A simple wav 48/24 file that is used everyday.

The same file imports fine in PT 10.3.8.
It imports fine in all other PT11.1 machines
If it´s dragged from the Workspace there is no problem
It has been used in hundreds of sessions. Importing from one of those sessions it makes PT 11.1 exit as well.

I did import the file in question into PT 10.3.8, exported it from there and deleted the original problematic file. Now PT 11.1 imports fine the new clone file.

I assume that somehow, the file got corrupted, but I can´t understand why only one particular machine running PT 11.1 doesn´t like that particular file to the point of exiting the program... weird.

Does anybody have an idea?
