Default How to control plugins applied to audio files with Artist Control

I'm using my Euphonix MC Control with Pro Tools. Even though it is the first model and the touch screen is not as responsive as Avid's Artist Control i'm very happy with it.

One thing i cannot succeed is to control audio suite plugins when applied to audio files. The knobs are working perfectly when i try to control channel plugins and i want to use it when apliying to audio files as well.

Is it not possible to control audio suite plugins when applied to audio files rather than channel plugins or am i missing something?

Thank...

Hey Ozu,

Are you asking if you can use the MC Control to change parameters for AudioSuite Plug-Ins? Because unfortunately you can't. You can only use it to control real time plug-ins located on Pro Tools tracks.

Thanks TAPSpace. It's sad but have to live with it :) Maybe the new Eucon update Avid's working for will solve?

But i'll give V Control a chance! Not a bad idea...

If you already have an iPad, I use Air Display for an extra tuchscreen...

I have a plan to build in the iPad to the right of the Transport, by having a wood-plate built that fits in the rails and varnish it black at the Volvo-dealership? Taking the backplate of a Hama I plan to make it removable with an easy handgrip but still power supported. Though I must admit, my main use for the iPad will be in FCPX rather than PT, but when it comes to physically changing EQ-plugins, I find it kind of neat to do it in PT via Air Display.
