Anyone using the Magma PE6R4 with a G5?

I have the PCIe G5 and may want to get the Magma soon - before I go Intel in a couple months. Just want to know if it works for anybody.

If you are looking for a cheaper option that works flawlessly, I am selling my Cyclone Microsystems 7 slot PCIe expansion chassis.

I used it with a G5 Quad and then with a Mac Pro. Inside, I were 2 HD Accel cards and 3 UAD-1e cards. I used this setup for over a year with no crashes or issues.

The reserve price is $1,000.

I think Rob has PCIx Pro Tools cards? currently in the expansion HD6. thats why he's looking at the Magma PE6R4 as it is a PCIx chassis.

Hold in their Rob! i'm trying to find the cause of our problems.

Sorry to say, but I think I'm jumping ship at the earliest option. This chassis has been miserable since day 1 - more than 3 years ago!!, and although I hope we get a fix really soon (Digi tech is calling me later today, actually) I can never imagine that this chassis will function any better than it ever has (poor-IMO) or as well as what people are finding with the PE6R4.

So here's hoping for a quick ExpHD fix! And here's looking to drop another 2k on a chassis that won't bust my groove constantly...
