Default Machine Control PT5.1.1

Even with the newest MC of 5.1.1 I am still getting the aforementioned problems with DVW-500s not being able to find an in point. The machine cues and than starts slowly scrubing backwards.

In addition a new bug has appeared. If I've used the "generic" 9-pin serial node to control my VMod (which is automatically selected), then turn MC off to change to another machine, and than enable 9-Pin serial for that machine, the node remains stuck on generic and behaves in that profile. However, when I then click on the node selector to shows the list of machines, it jumps to the correct machine. And whole time the 9-Pin Remote dialog box (which is unchecked) does show the correct Machine ID. Twitchy. Anyone else?

Default Re: Machine Control PT5.1.1

I've had problems with the DVW-500 as well concerning in points. When I try to lay back to tape the in point always changes from wherever it was to the beginning of the session without me telling it anything. My preroll (set to 5 secs) goes beyond the session start time (session start is generally 2 secs before first frame of audio) but this has never been a problem in the past. Also in the past when you enabled MC and selected node, the machine would be recognized automatically. Now, when you select node you get a pop up list of machines of which there are two selections for DVW-500 : OxB000 and OxB010. What are these designations referring to? Neither one seems to work seamlessly although OxB000 seems to work better in our situation. Any thoughts or ideas?

BTW - I am going to check to see if there is a newer version of Machine Control as soon as I finish posting this.
