STRUCTURE - upgrades for samplecell?

structure looks interesting - however - samplecell was uncerimoniously dumped (et tu virus?) - besides being skeptical that the support will be there and history repeated, is there any upgrade/incentive for all of us that invested and were left holding...etc.? i think it would be very smart & politically correct of digidesign to offer some compensation after having to deal with some pretty lame & makeshift alternatives in the interm

I was wondering about the same. I think SampleCell was a great sampler, and I used it for many years. (The DA-converters on the sound card version was bad, but as soon as SoftSampleCell arrived, it was great to make music with it!). When Digidesign decided to stop developing SampleCell, they said it was because the code was old and needes a total remake in order to work with OSX. I guess they later realized that ProTools users need a great sampler (which MOTU obviously believed, too - but started to doubt after they promised version 2 of MachFive, which never was released...).

Yes, let us ask Digidesign to give a special rebate to those of us who were registered SampleCell users

I could not agree more!!!
I acquired soft sample cell when I upgraded to HD. I never owned the hardware.
Then only a few months later Digi dumped soft samplecell for OSX leaving me with a worthless product I purchased only a few month prior. I think that is real BS on digi's part (bordering on illegal I think) and I for the most part EXPECT an upgrade for my end of life product I was only able to use for less that 6 months!
