Default PT LE 7.1.1 & Plug in Menu

Hi guys,

Just installed PT LE 7.1.1 on my Macbook
and everything seems to going fine.
Except for when I tried to install my plug in software.
I expected some of it to not work because of universal binaries and such,
but I wasn't even able to see them in the plug in menus in either the
audio suite menu or the insert menu in the mixer window.

I figured I would be at least able to see them.
This is the same even with digi's bundled plug ins like Maxim and the d-fi stuff.

I was just wondering if this is normal and only Universal binary compatible plug ins are
visible in the plug in menus or maybe something is wrong with my installation.

Thanks in advance.

-Awesome

Are you sure the plugins are up to date? If they're not updated from this site, that may be your problem

Well, as far as I can tell, even if its not updated it should at least appear in the plug in menu.
For example people have been saying that they would try to use non intel based plug ins
and it would crash there computer.
I don't even have the option as all I see is the basic plug ins that come with Pro Tools.

I've properly installed them, and they are visible in the library>application support>Digidesign>Plug ins
but not in the actual program itself.
Very frustrating.

Maybe someone has an idea what to do?
