Transfer HD TDM to 5.1 TDM plays back wrong speed
Hello:
Received three songs on DVD-R media to be used at a seminar. These songs were recorded originally at 24/96k on a 5.3.1 HD 2 system on OS 9.2. They were downsampled and sent to us as 24/48k. We imported the files to a Mix + system, v 5.1.x with OS 9.2 and opened the files and session with no problems. However, after the producer heard the playback, he noticed that the files were playing back slower than recorded. Assuming (wrongly maybe?) that the files were sent to us "correctly", what else would or could account for this? We were using a USD set to internal and two 888/24/s. Session setup showed we were at 48k/24bit. The PT versions (going to 5.3.1 to 5.1) could be an issue that we will investigate. Any ideas or opinions appreciated and welcome.
