have you got zoom toggle switched on? just under the mag glass there's a small box un select that.

I'm not sure this is what I'm talking about.
At the moment if I move audio from one track to the next track the audio zoom setting is different on the secon track so the waveform appears louder. I want all tracks to be the same.

Press Alt/Option+A, or dbl-click the zoomer tool.

This zooms out to view the whole session. Additionally it resets all waveform zooms to default (not zoomed in or out).

Cool, thanks. THat seems to have reset it. How did I get it that way in the first place? Usually the only zooming I do is horizontal. And if I zoom vertically I just click the button. So what's the trick to zooming one track vertically only??
