And that is exactly what I'm trying trying to do. Just not sure how to get it, feel I am close.
Well (if) the meter and analyzer units are both 2 channel and have line in and line out jacks. You can just use the DB25 corresponding 5-6 and 7-8 in and outs to connect to them

yeah I've done it that way, and it works fine in Pro Tools, but I can't get the output working with Youtube/My system's standard output.

I'm just not sure where I edit or add that. All most other ALTs work fine currently with system output.

Consider the person writing the post always knows exactly what all inferences and unstated fact are The person reading may not.

So with that in mind to clarify
#1 so you have the meters and analyzer connected to DB -25 ins and outs channels 5-6 and 7-8 and you can see them working in Pro Tools correct ?

#2 When playing Youtube you can hear YT's output in your system outputs (mains, alts and HP) correct?

#3 But when playing Youtube the signal is not going to the Meters and Analyzer correct? if so then that is the expected behavior

Seems to me the only work around would be to disconnect the meters and analyzer from the the DB 25 Then come out of the Main outs (1/4 jacks on Carbon ) go into the analyzer inputs--- then outputs from meters into the inputs of meters ,, then outputs from meters (or vice versa) and into the inputs for you main monitor speakers.

Which begs the question why would want or care about metering or analyzing the output from YT or any other 3 rd party computer app ?

Or go from the Main Outs to a splitter that mults the out to the 3 devices (meter, analyzer, monitors).

Yes I had no thought of that. Still unsure of specific purpose

Yes, they are not going to Meters and Analyzer. The expected behavior is getting the signal from Youtube ect to the Meter/Analyzer.

I do appreciate all the help K Roche!

For example to comparing our final lossless exports to others, comparing our Spotify/ect uploads to others. There are lot of reasons why it would be nice to have access to all the outputs outside of just Pro Tools.

Yes, this is the only solution(s) I can think of.

Just frustrating that some outputs of the Carbon are limited to Pro Tools only. Just seemed strange.
