WindowServer high CPU Pro Tools Only

With WindowServer peaking my CPU whether I have 3 UHD monitors connected to just one I have been tweaking transparency settings, turning remote management off and on, and the thing that has sped up my system the most since I've updated to Big Sur was turning my Color Palette in Pro Tools back to default settings. But even still, I am getting choppy behavior. Nuendo and every other app is 100% smooth. Any one can relate? |

Re: WindowServer high CPU Pro Tools Only
I'm also seeing this alongside the generally sluggish and low framerate behavior in PT after upgrading to Big Sur.
I've recently jumped up to Monterey and it's sometimes better but after building some big sessions it goes back to looking like I swapped out my Mac Pro 7,1 for a Mac Pro 5,1 from 10 years ago. Everything else on my system is running smoothly, it's just PT that is having issues at this point. Avid, please fix!!

Re: WindowServer high CPU Pro Tools Only
I noticed this back in December when I upgraded from 2021.7 to 2021.12 on Big Sur. Uninstalling Pro Tools and installing 2021.7 fixed this. I've been on 2021.7 since as all future updates gave me the same problem.
