Workspace - Recall Directory

When an open session has clips that need re-linking, I need to navigate my system's volume structure to reach my active projects directory and scan for candidates. This is because I have 7 local volumes that would otherwise take ages to scan.

Navigating to the appropriate directory isn't too arduous but it gets old fast. I've tried setting a preset (cmd+click Preset #) but it only seems to save/recall the Workspace window's size. Is there some way I'm missing to set a favourite directory?

A "favorite directory" to search seems like a good idea. But I think of the need to re-link as kind of an emergency situation, like I forgot to "copy" the audio into the correct audio folder. I can see where it would be tedious to keep needing to re-link...

I run into this often when I receive sessions from remote collaborators.

I've never understood why it's so complicated to relink missing files in PT... Logic finds the files (if they exist) in seconds. PT doesn't seem to be using Spotlight for searching.
