expansion chassis/UAD card order question
hi there. we have a intel mac (pci-e) and a pci expansion chassis. we also have 2 pci-e UAD cards in the intel mac along with the expansion chassis ethernet card. my question is whether it matters which slot the expansion chassis card is in. i have read that you can get better UAD performance by having them on different PCI busses, which would mean putting UAD cards in slots 2 & 4, and the expansion card in slot 3.
anyone see any problems with this? i can't find anything about this anywhere else... thanks jd
