Export interleaved issue

Hi. Every now and then when i export an audio file as stereo interleaved, PT adds a separate .L and .R mono files which I then have to manually delete. I work with lots of commercials an when this happens while exporting tons of stems, a considerable amount of time i wasted erasing files I don't want.


Any idea whats going on here?

Strange. Is this when you bounce from the file menu, or when you right-click on a clip in the clip bin, or what?
And it happens not everytime?

Hi! Thanks :) No it happens with export (shift+cmd+k) an not everytime. There is no pattern. And not to necassarily to every file; if i mark 10 stereo files en exports them, this may happen to 4 of them - or 9...


And its been going on for years through different versions of PT and on several rigs here in our studio.

Now that is strange.
1. trash prefs
2. all OS/driver/plug updates
3. uninstall/reinstall PTools
4. MemTest
